Rishi Rich
Rishi Rich Productions Creative Director/Music Producer Rishi Rich is an internationally
recognized producer who’s responsible for breaking artists Jay Sean and Juggy D
and turning them into two of the biggest names this generation of music has seen.
In addition, Rishi has produced for some of the biggest names including; Madonna,
Britney Spears, Mary J Blige and UK artists Craig David, Nathan and Mis-teeq. Rishi’s
been making music since the age of 14 and is credited as one of the most respected
and talented producers to date. Rishi has recently been nominated as the Best Producer
for the 2008 UK Asian Music Awards.
H-Dhami
H-Dhami is exactly what the Asian music scene needs. He’s a young and fresh bhangra
artist with an international fan base already locked in place. Dhami’s talents stem
from a musical legacy. He’s the son of Palvinder Dhami - the legendary lead singer
from the Bhangra band HEERA. H-Dhami was destined for big things after spending
most of his life on stage from the age of six performing alongside his Dad.
Since signing to the company, H-Dhami has performed across the globe with brand
new exclusively written tracks by Rishi Rich plus his first video called ‘Sadke
Java’ has also been played extensively across major Asian TV channels in the UK,
USA and Asia. The video is the first produced by RRP and has also been nominated
as Video of 2007 by Zee TV. Within just a year, the new Bhangra boy on the street
has already received two nominations for the 2008 UK Asian Music Awards (AMAS) for
Best New Comer and Best Male Act.
Mumzy
Mumzy, hailed by the Asian media as the ‘Bengali answer to Sean Paul.’ Born and
bred in Plaistow, his vocals alternate between sweet, soulful RnB and MC/Bashment.
Mumzy’s collaborations with some of the biggest names in the Asian music industry
have already created a storm. Artists include; Jassi Sidhu, Malkit Singh, Taz from
Stereo Nation and Mumbai based Bollywood singer/actor Sophia. The track with Sophia
has proved to be such a hit in India that Rishi & Mumzy will both be appearing in
video for Sophia’s album’s debut track ‘Manjaave.’
Veronica
Veronica (born Veronica Mehta) is an R&B singer based in London, UK, who sings in
Hindi, English and Punjabi. Veronica first came onto the music scene at the age
of 16, when she auditioned and won the part of female vocalist for the 2Kool album
'2Kool Flavor'. She featured on the track 'Sambhala Hai Meine', and has since gone
from strength to strength. Veronica quit her Art Studies to pursue her dream of
a singing career, and teamed up with Rishi Rich to form VR1, a band and production
unit applauded for experimenting with traditional Asian music, remixing, and giving
vocals an R'n'B twist. VR1 sold more than 50,000 records throughout the UK and Europe,
and picked up two Asian Pop Media Awards. Since VR1, Veronica joined ePark / Urbanstar
and released the single 'Girls Gotta Have Fun', with both CDs having various mixes
of the title track, as well as the fantastic 'Show me Love'. Not Forgetting the
bollywood smash hit. from the Yash Chopra film 'Hum Tum' -a track that Veronica
composed. Veronica's debut album Theen was a huge success. And Another one is set
to to be a major Hit internationally with Rishi Rich Productions in Summer 2008.
